Truong Nhat Quan: From Mister TMU 2026 to GFW All Stars 2026 Student Model Ambassador

Must read

Among many students who choose different paths to explore their potential, Truong Nhat Quan found his opportunity for growth on stages he had never imagined becoming part of. From someone who once lacked the confidence to stand before a crowd, Nhat Quan gradually developed his skills and went on to become the Champion of Miss & Mister TMU 2026. This title also opened the door to many new experiences, including the opportunity to join Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 as a Student Model Ambassador.

Turning point from a college stage

For many university students, campus competitions provide an opportunity to challenge themselves in new fields. For Truong Nhat Quan, Miss & Mister TMU 2026 became a memorable milestone during his time at Thuongmai University. Nhat Quan shared that when he decided to register for the competition, he was hesitant because he had little experience performing in front of large audiences. Nevertheless, he saw it as an opportunity to step beyond his comfort zone and test his own abilities in a highly competitive environment.

On his journey to winning the championship title, the Thuongmai University student went through multiple competition rounds, each presenting different challenges in runway performance, communication, and interview skills. Every stage required serious preparation, consistent effort, and perseverance throughout the competition.

According to Nhat Quan, the greatest value of the competition was not the title itself but the transformation in his mindset and self-perception. From someone who was once hesitant to appear before large crowds, he gradually became more proactive in communication, more confident in participating in group activities, and more willing to embrace new opportunities. After the competition, Nhat Quan developed a deeper interest in fashion and runway performance. At the same time, he gained opportunities to take part in a variety of extracurricular activities, connect with other young people who shared similar interests, and broaden his understanding of the industry he hopes to pursue in the future.

A reserved man’s interest for passion

When reflecting on the challenges he has faced, Nhat Quan shared that what stands out most in his memory is not the demanding training schedule or the pressure of the competition, but the lack of confidence he once felt when standing in front of large audiences. There was a time when appearing on stage before a crowd made him feel extremely nervous. As a university student with little runway experience, managing his emotions and maintaining confidence during important moments was far from easy.

Instead of avoiding those challenges, Nhat Quan chose to dedicate time each day to improving himself. He practiced posture control, refined his communication skills, and actively participated in group activities to become more comfortable in front of large crowds. The process took place gradually, and the results did not come overnight. However, the experiences he accumulated over time helped him become more confident and willing to challenge himself in new fields.

Through his involvement in various runway activities, Nhat Quan gradually developed a genuine passion for fashion. According to him, the most fascinating aspect of fashion lies in the way each individual expresses their personality and unique story through clothing. Every style choice reflects, to some extent, a person’s mindset, preferences, and the image they wish to present to the world.

Networking opportunities at Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026

Taking place from July 30 to August 2, 2026, at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi, Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 will bring together renowned fashion designers, brands, models, beauty queens and kings, and representatives from educational institutions across Vietnam and around the world.

The 2026 edition marks the first time the program has expanded to incorporate three creative communities: All Stars, Junior, and Student. This new structure creates a platform for interaction among established models, creative professionals, and young people with a passion for fashion. Beyond runway presentations, the event also aims to strengthen community connections, providing emerging talents with opportunities to experience a professional working environment and learn from leading figures in the industry.

Featuring more than 30 designers and fashion brands from multiple countries, the four-day event promises a diverse lineup of fashion shows, networking sessions, and exchange activities. It also offers university students a valuable opportunity to gain closer insight into the fashion industry as it continues to expand within an increasingly globalized landscape.

Joining the program as a Student Model Ambassador candidate, Truong Nhat Quan will participate in the event’s promotional campaigns and student community engagement activities leading up to the fashion week. For him, this represents an opportunity to connect with like-minded young people who share a passion for fashion, gain valuable insights from a professional environment, and help introduce the program to university students across the country.

A generational outlook

When asked about the qualities young people need to participate in large-scale programs, Truong Nhat Quan believes that foreign language proficiency and a willingness to learn are among the most essential. According to him, language skills enable young people to communicate more effectively, access new knowledge, and expand their connections with international peers. At the same time, maintaining an open mindset toward new experiences allows individuals to adapt more easily to different environments.

At the same time, Nhat Quan believes that everyone should preserve their own individuality. In environments filled with talented people, what truly leaves a lasting impression is not trying to be like someone else, but understanding your own strengths and developing them in the most authentic way.

This is also the message he hopes to share with young people pursuing their own ambitions. In his view, not everyone begins their journey with confidence or experience. What truly matters is having the courage to take the first step and the perseverance to remain committed to the path you have chosen. Every experience brings valuable lessons and gradually helps shape a stronger, more capable version of yourself over time.

From a university student who once felt uncomfortable speaking in front of large audiences to becoming the Champion of Miss & Mister TMU 2026 and a Student Model Ambassador candidate for Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026, Truong Nhat Quan continues to build new experiences and broaden his horizons. For him, every opportunity to step into the spotlight is a chance to learn, connect with people who share the same passion, and continue growing along the path he has chosen.
