A love letter from Vietnam to the beauty world

Must read

In the dazzling world of beauty, sparkling lights, and million-dollar crowns, sometimes what truly stirs the heart isn’t the spectacle, but the gentle and profound values beneath. From Vietnam, an Eastern land rich in heritage, Miss Charm quietly writes a new chapter in the concept of holistic beauty. Without noise or frenzy, Miss Charm seeps into the hearts of beauty lovers like a love letter: tender, sincere, and full of aspiration.

A feminine dream & the start from silence

Miss Charm did not start with a flashy slogan, but began with the question: “If Vietnamese people can compete internationally, why can’t we organize a contest for the whole world?” This question was conceived from the heart of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Chairwoman of Elite Vietnam – a woman who has quietly been behind dozens of journeys of Vietnamese beauty at international stages such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International… But she did not want to live forever in the role of “someone sending contestants to compete.” She wanted more than that. She wanted Vietnam to be the place that invites the world. Thus, Miss Charm was born. A dream written with love for culture, intellect, and for women who carry the beauty of an entire nation within them.

Two seasons, two stories about thoughtful beauty

From the very first season in 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Miss Charm impressed with its professional organization, international-level stage, and above all, the spirit of the contest: honoring beauty closely linked with knowledge and social commitment.

  • Luma Russo, the representative from Brazil, was crowned with her classic, enchanting beauty and a heart dedicated to fighting for global education. She didn’t speak much, but every answer was the voice of a woman who deeply understands the value of knowledge in the mission to beautify the world.

  • Rashmita Rasindran, Miss Charm 2024 from Malaysia, brought to the stage the image of a modern intellectual woman: radiant, confident, and committed to women’s rights activities. An excellent graduate in Communications, and currently a member of a Gender Equality organization in Malaysia, Rashmita represents a generation of beauty queens living by ideals, not just for the spotlight.

Ecosystem of heart, culture, and action

What sets Miss Charm apart is its ability to develop into an influential ecosystem. Not just a competition, Miss Charm creates meaningful “stopping points” filled with humanity along the journey of beauty:

  • Share With Charm: A forum of knowledge and dialogue on education, culture, and gender equality, where values are shared through genuine emotions.
  • Charm Love You: Where beauty queens become initiators of community projects right at their hometown.
  • Charm Voyage: The journey of exploring Vietnam’s beauty through heritage sites in Hoi An, Ha Long, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, etc.

Each part of that ecosystem is like a small letter, told in its own language, about how a beauty pageant can become a bridge between women and the community, between culture and the world, between beauty and responsibility.

Miss Charm 2025: An invitation for muses of the digital era

In 2025, Miss Charm returns with an expanded scale of over 60 countries, promising to become one of the most diverse and pioneering international pageants in Asia. The new season will introduce award categories tied to AI, digital education, and community initiatives—concepts once thought to be distant from traditional beauty pageants.

For Miss Charm, the future is not just about the spotlight on stage, but about the synergy between technology and humanity—where beauty is ever-learning, ever-spreading, and ever-inspiring.

And then…

While the whole world waits in anticipation: Who will be the next muse?

Miss Charm continues to gently write its journey like a letter composed with glances, with faith, and with a love that needs no grand display.

Because true beauty—like a heartfelt love letter—doesn’t need to be loud. It only needs to be delivered at the right moment, to the right person, and with all the heart.
