A sudden turn at the finish line

Tiffany Watson, beloved for her time on Made In Chelsea, was nearing the end of what had been a peaceful pregnancy when things took an alarming turn. The 31-year-old reality TV star recently revealed she was rushed to hospital after experiencing flu symptoms that lingered for over ten days. During a routine checkup, doctors became concerned about her health—and that of her unborn baby—when they discovered she was severely dehydrated and the baby’s heart rate was abnormally high.

Speaking candidly on her Instagram, Tiffany explained, “Went in this morning to get tested again for gestational diabetes because the baby is measuring so big, and ended up on a drip due to being so dehydrated and baby heart rate high. I just can’t shake this flu I’ve got.” For Tiffany, who has described her pregnancy journey as smooth up until now, this unexpected development has been especially challenging. Despite the setback, she remains optimistic, adding, “Hope I’ll be better soon.”

A growing family and heartfelt hopes

Tiffany’s current pregnancy journey began with joyful news in January, when she and her husband, professional footballer Cameron McGeehan, announced they were expecting their second child. Their first son, Jude, was born in June 2023, and the couple had been “actively trying” to expand their family ever since. “We definitely wanted another one,” Tiffany told the Mirror. “We were really excited.”

She found out she was pregnant again in October and remembers the moment vividly. “My period was late so I peed on a stick, ran down and told my husband,” she recalled with a laugh. Since then, the couple has been preparing Jude for his new role as big brother. “We do say [to Jude about the pregnancy] he can say the word ‘baby’ and he quite often will lift my jumper up and stroke my stomach and kiss it. But, I don’t know if he knows,” she admitted.

A name worth waiting for

With the gender of their second baby confirmed as a boy, Tiffany and Cameron set about the next big parenting decision: choosing a name. As it turns out, agreeing on a name was a challenge that rivaled any flu or hospital visit. “I was so bang on going through lists of names, and my mum every day sent me ridiculous names,” Tiffany said. Meanwhile, Cameron took a more relaxed approach, often dismissing suggestions. “He was like, ‘You’re just forcing this, you need to stop.’”

The couple struggled to find common ground, each favoring names the other couldn’t stand. “He had two names he loved and I didn’t like them, and I had two I loved and he didn’t like them,” she explained. But once they learned the gender, narrowing down choices became easier. “We could just focus on one side.”

Eventually, they landed on a name they both liked—on New Year’s Day, no less. “Hopefully we stick with it,” Tiffany said. “We don’t agree on much! I feel like we have to stick with this one because we don’t seem to have similar tastes.”

Resilience, rest, and ready for what’s next

While the final weeks of pregnancy haven’t gone as planned, Tiffany’s focus remains on recovery and the health of her unborn son. Her hospital stay may have been unexpected, but it has also reminded her of the fragility and unpredictability of pregnancy—even when everything seems to be going well.

Her fans and followers have flooded her social media with support and well-wishes as she navigates this difficult period. Tiffany continues to share glimpses into her life, showing that while not every chapter goes smoothly, grace and humor can carry a mother through. As she prepares to meet her second son, Tiffany Watson is once again proving her strength—not just as a reality star, but as a woman embracing the real, raw, and radiant moments of motherhood.
