Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang, 2nd Runner-Up of Miss Development Economics UEB 2023 at the University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has officially joined Global Student Fashion Week 2026 as a Student Model Ambassador. The program will take place as part of Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 from July 30 to August 2 at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Hanoi, bringing together student representatives, designers, and creative communities from both Vietnam and abroad.

From the lecture hall to an international runway

Known through her achievement as 2nd Runner-Up of Miss Development Economics UEB 2023, Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang represents the image of a modern student who successfully balances academics, extracurricular activities, and personal development. Her experiences within the university environment have helped her strengthen her communication skills, adaptability, and confidence when participating in large-scale programs and events.

Taking on the role of Student Model Ambassador at Global Student Fashion Week 2026 marks a new step in that journey. Beyond appearing as an outstanding student representative, Quynh Trang also contributes to promoting the image of a young generation that is dynamic, open-minded, and ready to engage with the international community.

For many students today, globally connected platforms are not only opportunities for new experiences but also valuable occasions to broaden perspectives and learn from diverse creative communities. Quynh Trang’s participation reflects this spirit—one of actively stepping beyond familiar boundaries in pursuit of new opportunities and personal growth.

GFW All Stars 2026: Connecting new creative generations

Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 marks a new chapter in the development of Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week. After eight years of operation, the program has officially expanded into an international fashion week model, connecting three communities—All Stars, Junior, and Student—with the goal of creating a shared platform for designers, brands, artists, educational institutions, and young people interested in creative industries.

Taking place from July 30 to August 2, 2026, at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Hanoi as part of Vietnam Event & Exhibition Week 2026 (VEEW 2026), the event will bring together more than 30 brands, designers, and showcasing organizations, along with hundreds of individuals working in fashion, art, and entertainment from various countries. In addition to runway presentations, the fashion week will provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among creative communities in an era when the fashion industry is becoming increasingly global.

Within this structure, the Student community has been developed as a platform for pupils, university students, and young people interested in fashion, media, design, and other creative industries. The participation of student ambassadors such as Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang contributes the perspective of the younger generation to the broader picture of the event, while also reflecting a growing trend of students actively seeking opportunities for experience, connection, and learning in international environments.

When fashion becomes the embodiment of personal identity

In a time when young people increasingly value personal identity, fashion is no longer simply about clothing but has become a means of expressing individuality, mindset, and personal values. For Quynh Trang, participating in Global Student Fashion Week is not only an opportunity to appear on a major stage but also a chance to explore herself within a new creative environment. Her journey reflects the way today’s youth approach fashion as an open space where individuals are encouraged to express their unique identities rather than blend into the crowd.

With her elegant image and composed demeanor, Quynh Trang chooses to present herself naturally rather than relying on attention-grabbing elements to stand out. This approach has helped her cultivate an image that aligns closely with the spirit of a young student representative who is gradually expanding her experiences within the creative industry.

Representing youths’ integration spirit

The growth of internationally oriented fashion programs is creating increasing opportunities for pupils and university students to engage with professional creative environments while still pursuing their education. More than a platform for showcasing collections, Global Student Fashion Week 2026 has been developed as a space for young people interested in fashion, media, design, and the broader creative industries.

Through networking activities, runway presentations, and interactions with representatives from different countries, the Student community serves as a bridge that helps students broaden their perspectives, gain exposure to emerging trends, and learn from international environments. It also provides an opportunity for the ideas, stories, and viewpoints of the younger generation to be shared within a multicultural setting.

Within this broader landscape, the participation of student ambassadors carries special significance as a voice representing young people who actively seek opportunities for personal growth and global engagement. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang is one of the representatives contributing to this journey. From her experiences in the academic environment to her role as a Student Model Ambassador at Global Student Fashion Week 2026, she and many other student representatives help shape the image of a generation that is dynamic, open-minded, and ready to take part in international exchange and collaboration.
