Six-year-old Nguyen Tam Dan, a student of Xuan Lan’s Academy, has been invited to participate in Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan. The event gathers numerous international brands and designers, offering Tam Dan a valuable opportunity to showcase her talent, confidence, and passion for fashion—representing the new generation of Vietnamese child models on the global stage.
The seeds of passion from the first stuttering steps
Since the age of three, Tam Dan has shown a remarkable artistic talent. She loves dancing to music, posing in front of the mirror, and watching fashion shows with fascination. Recognizing her passion, her family encouraged her to enroll at Xuan Lan’s Academy—a professional training center known for nurturing young modeling talents through a structured and creative approach.

For Tam Dan, every class is a source of joy. She listens attentively, practices each catwalk step with dedication, and carefully refines every gesture and expression. Despite her young age, her focus, discipline, and eagerness to improve have earned admiration from both teachers and classmates.
“I love performing on stage because every time I do, I learn something new and feel more confident,” Tam Dan shared innocently.
The first results of relentless effort
Passion and dedication have brought Tam Dan many encouraging achievements. She won First Prize in the Fashion Performance category at an internal competition organized by Xuan Lan’s Academy—a memorable milestone in her young modeling journey.

In addition, Tam Dan has been invited to perform at several upcoming major fashion events, including shows organized by Dac Ngoc, offering her valuable opportunities to showcase her talent and gain more experience. The young model also dreams of gracing even bigger stages in the future, where she hopes to continue growing, learning, and shining with confidence.
Confidently preparing for an international stage
“When I found out I would be performing at Taipei International Fashion Week 2026, I felt so happy and proud,” shared Tam Dan. She will appear in the collection of Dac Ngoc Designer House, the only Vietnamese brand invited to present at this year’s international event. To prepare for Taipei International Fashion Week 2026, the young model has spent much time training with professional coaches, perfecting her catwalk posture, facial expressions, and stage presence. “I’ll try my best not to disappoint my parents and all the teachers and mentors who have supported me,” she said earnestly.

The event, organized by Runway Productions Taiwan, will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at Taipei New Horizon. It will feature hundreds of models and leading fashion brands from across Asia. This year, TIFW offers a unique experience by combining fashion and culinary culture through a collaboration with Ningxia Night Market, one of Taiwan’s most famous food destinations. The fusion embodies Taipei’s creativity, vibrancy, and rich cultural identity, making Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 a truly distinctive highlight for fashion enthusiasts worldwide.
The role model and a dream ahead
In her artistic journey, supermodel Xuan Lan is the person Tam Dan admires the most. “I really love Ms. Xuan Lan because she was the one who guided my very first steps and selected me for the talent class when I was still studying in Ha Long,” Tam Dan shared. Alongside Ms. Xuan Lan, Tam Dan also receives dedicated mentorship and support from Ms. Van of Valentines Academy—a professional modeling academy in Hanoi—and Mr. Lo Thach from Ha Long, both of whom have played crucial roles in honing her skills and nurturing her passion for the arts.

After Taipei International Fashion Week 2026, Tam Dan hopes to continue accompanying designer Dac Ngoc in both domestic and international shows—the person she fondly calls her “fashion idol.” At just six years old, Tam Dan’s artistic journey has only begun. Yet, with her passion, perseverance, and love for the runway, she is confidently taking her first steps toward bringing the image of Vietnamese child models to the global stage. Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 is not just an international fashion event—it is a platform where young talents like Nguyen Tam Dan see their dreams take flight, turning every catwalk stride into a journey of faith, love, and dedication.
